KARACHI, Oct 12: The senior vice president of the Millat Party, Javed Jabbar, has resigned his party post after his defeat in the general election.
In a letter to the Millat Party chief, Farooq Leghari, Javed Jabbar said: “In view of the results of the elections for the National Alliance from Karachi constituency NA-244, in which I was the candidate of the National Alliance and the Millat Party and in which I lost the elections by a very large margin, I tender my resignation from the post of the Senior Vice President of the Millat Party and take full responsibility for this defeat.”—APP
