KARACHI: 1.06m patients treated


KARACHI, Oct 1: Over 1.06 million people were provided with free medical services in ten hospitals of the city government during the previous fiscal year.

According to a spokesman for the city government, about 0.7057 million patients were given normal treatment, while 0.3096 million were admitted in addition to 7,485 delivery cases and more than twenty thousand surgeries.

More than 0.3m x-rays were taken, 2.04m laboratory and 8,792 ECG tests were carried out in various medical institutions.—PPI
