ANP leader threatens to boycott polls

SWABI, Sept 28: Former MNA and district president of Awami National Party Haji Rehmanullah has threatened that he would boycott the Oct 10 elections if the government failed to prevent the district Nazim from influencing the electioneering.

Mr Rehmanullah and other leaders of the ANP, while speaking at different election rallies here on Friday, alleged that district Nazim Sher Zaman Sher was campaigning for the PML(QA) candidate for PF-35.

The entire machinery of the district government has been mobilized to strengthen the position of PML(QA) candidate, they said.
