Boy tortured to death

SUKKUR, Sept 25: A six-year-old boy, Saeed Thahim, was killed after being tortured by a gang of criminals in Jacobabad on Wednesday.

The Mauladad police station, Jacobabad, said that Saeed’s body was found near a pond. His postmortem, which was carried out at the civil hospital, revealed that he had been tortured.

An FIR was lodged against the unidentified men.

Saeed is the son of a landlord, Akram Thahim.

The incident has triggered a wave of shock in the Mauladad village.

The people have demanded that the accused be arrested as soon as possible.

The boy’s parents said that they had no enmity with anyone.
