Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, APL Cairo, Kota Teraju, to unload and load containers, Darya Dhayan and Felicity to unload DAP fertilizer and Johar to offload crude oil were berthed after the sailing of two.

Sailing on the other hand was modest as only two ships, PONL Singapore and Zhuang He departed, while Al-Maqwa, Banglar Mamata, APL Cairo, Plamer, BBC Denmark, Al-Ihssa and Johar are due to sail out on Thursday.

Berth occupancy rose to 67 and 68 per cent both at the oil piers and the dry wharves owing to steady handling of ships.
