ISLAMABAD, Sept 23: A British national was found dead at his residence in F-7/1 on Monday, police said.
Quoting the watchman, Manzoor Masih, the police said Paul Collon, who worked for an NGO, arrived at his residence at 1:30am. Before coming home, Mr Collon had visited the UNO Club and China Club at Nasimuddin Road.
According to the watchman, Mr Collon went to his room and he locked the main gate. “Neither I saw any person enter nor leave the house,” he added.
On Monday morning, when the watchman opened the door of his bedroom, he found Mr Collon unconscious.
The police said according to the doctor’s report the cause of Mr Collon’s death was swelling of veins, oedema of the heart and excessive drinking.
The police have started investigations to determine the real cause of his death.
SHOT DEAD: A man was shot dead in his house in Sihala on Monday.
Police said Raj Mohammad had a monetary dispute with Juma Khan. Juma Khan reached Raj’s house alongwith Aman Khan and Khan Mohammad and demanded the money. During the course of their discussion, Juma Khan got infuriated and shot Raj to death. The culprits then escaped from the scene, the police said.
DROWNED: A man drowned in Rawal Lake on Sunday.
According to the police, Mohammad Sifarish, a resident of Dhoke Paracha, had gone to Rawal Lake alongwith his friends for fishing. While he was fishing, Sifarish ventured into the water although he did not know how to swim.
