KARACHI: Candidate alleges harassment of voters

KARACHI, Sept 23: Sardar Rahim, a candidate for PS-114 said on Monday that the area police were harassing his voters in Mehmoodabad and Azam Basti.

Speaking at a press conference in Karachi Press Club, he said that when he along with Mashahidullah Khan went to NA-215 constituency in Azam Basti for opening election offices, they were attacked by workers of their opponent candidate.

He alleged that some officials of the Mehmoodabad PS, including SI Nadeem Awan, SI Mir Aslam, SI Safdar, ASI Javed, SI Ateeq Shah and others, harassed his voters.
