KARACHI: Council moot demanded

KARACHI, Sept 22: The District Council members have called upon the city government to request the City Naib Nazim to convene a Council meeting to discuss the proposed auction of a precious commercial plot.

A statement of Nazim UC-8, Jutland Lines, Mahfoozun Nabi Khan, said that in a meeting of the District Council, the members had expressed concern over allegedly ignoring the Council in the matter of auction of a precious plot of 58,767.81 square-yards.

The members had not been informed about the auction officially.—APP
