PPP stages rally in Naushahro Feroze

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Sept 21: A rally was taken out by the workers of the People’s Party Parliamentarians in Mehrabpur on Friday night.

Some five hundred people participated in the rally which marched through Ward No. 15 and Line Paar localities.

The rally was led by the deputy joint secretary, PPP, Naushahro Feroze district.

Later, a public meeting was held on the Thari Mirwah Road.

Speaking to the workers, Aftab Mallah and others said the PPP was a revolutionary party and it would continue its struggle for the rights of the downtrodden under the leadership of Benazir Bhutto.

PROTEST: The temporary employees of the irrigation department, appointed for monsoon, have demanded their salary.

Abdul Razzak Mashori, Akram Mashori and Kandero Khan, complained that the irrigation department had not paid salaries to its temporary employees for the last three months.
