KARACHI: Inquiry into Omer’s death ordered


KARACHI, Sept 21: The Home Department of Sindh has appointed the district and sessions judge Karachi South inquiry officer to hold an inquest into the death of Omer Asghar Khan, a federal minister.

The terms of reference of the tribunal shall be to inquire into and ascertain the causes and circumstances leading to the death of Omer Asghar Khan, whether it was a case of premeditated murder or suicide, to ascertain and identify the involvement of persons who played a part in the alleged death which occurred in mysterious circumstances. Any other vital aspect related to the tragic incident which may help in establishing the truth. — APP
