KARACHI: Ten cars, 14 bikes hijacked

KARACHI, Sept 19: At least 24 vehicles — 10 cars and 14 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in various city areas on Thursday.

Four cars were taken away at gun-point and six were stolen by bandits.

Four motorcycles were hijacked and 10 were stolen in various city areas.

WOMAN DIES: A woman, who was injured in a road accident in F.B. Industrial Area on Wednesday night, died during treatment on Thursday.

Rukhsana, 35, and her mother Sabra had came to attend a marriage ceremony in New Karachi from Malir. On their way back, they were travelling in a minibus when it over turned due to speeding near Shohrab goth.

Rukhsana and another woman Parveen who suffered injuries were shifted to Abbasi Hospital and were admitted to the hospital for treatment. However, Rukhsana died during treatment early Thursday morning.
