LAHORE, Sept 18: Governor Khalid Maqbool has announced a financial assistance of Rs500,000 for the family of the headmaster who was burnt by a watchman.
He also announced a job for the widow in the Education Department.
Headmaster Dr Muhammad Javed Iqbal was a father of a son and four daughters.
The governor assured the bereaved family that the challan of the case would be completed as early as possible and submitted to the court so that exemplary punishment could be awarded to the culprit.
