Anti-malaria spray

LAHORE, Sept 18: District Nazim Mian Amer Mahmood ordered on Wednesday launching of a two-week crash programme for anti-malaria spray in all the 150 unions councils of the district.

The City District Government staff used fogging and spray machines to complete anti-malaria spray in Union Council 55 (Mustafabad) on the first day of the programme on Wednesday. Union Council Nazim supervised.

Executive District Officer (Health) Dr Muhammad Hasan has been entrusted the responsibility to supervise the programme.

He said in a statement that special teams had been constituted at the town level to spray insecticides in every street of every locality of the city district.

The teams would visit different localities to undertake spray operations under the supervision of the union council Nazim concerned. Daily progress reports would be sent to the district Nazim with the certificate of the UC Nazimeen concerned.
