Plea dismissed
ISLAMABAD, Sept 18: The Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed the appeal of former Sindh law and housing minister Pir Mazharul Haq against his convictions in accountability references.
The bench comprised Justice Munir A. Shaikh, Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar.
The former Sindh minister was awarded five-year RI in one reference and two years RI in another reference for misuse of authority and causing loss to national exchequer. —APP
