New party post for Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD, Sept 18: Former finance minister, Ishaq Dar, has been appointed president international affairs of Pakistan Muslim League (N), a party announcement said.

The appointment was made by President PML (N), Shahbaz Sharif, and notified by Secretary General, Saranjam Khan, it added.

Dar was appointed PML(N) overseas chief coordinator on Monday. However, the party patron, Nawaz Sharif and President Shahbaz Sharif, in view of his vast experience, elevated him to the position of president international affairs, saying he would be more useful in improving the party’s image at international level.
