Wapda’s rebate incentive for defaulters
LAHORE, Sept 17: Consumers who owe to Wapda up to Rs25,000 for a period of over five years will be given a 50 per cent rebate provided they make the payment by Oct 31, says a press release.
As such they will pay 50 per cent of the dues payable by them and the remaining 50 per cent will be written off.
The consumers who owe more than Rs25,000 and up to Rs100,000 for a period of over five years will similarly be provided 25 per cent rebate incentive. As such they will have to pay 75 per cent of the amount due from them while the remaining amount will be written off.—APP
