PPP protest continues
MIRPURKHAS, Sept 12: Protest against rejection of nomination papers of the PPP chairperson, Benazir Bhutto, and other party leaders continued here on Thursday.
About two dozen activists of the Pakistan People’s Party observed a token hun-ger strike at the Post Office Chowk.
GOVERNOR: Governor, Sindh, Mohammedmian Soomro arrived here on a brief visit on Thursday while he was going to Karachi from Mithi.
He held a meeting with officers of the district administration and police at the local circuit house.
He was briefed about the arrangements for the forthcoming general elections.
