PESHAWAR, Sept 12: The students of Iqra University have replaced the website for the capital city police with a new one to help people get updated information about the police department.

This was said by the project director of Iqra University, Obaidur Rehman, during a meeting with the Inspector-General of Police, Saeed Khan, on Thursday. The new URL address for the site is http:/www.ccp.gov.pk.

Mr Rehman suggested that information technology should be introduced in the police department to apprise the policemen about the latest developments in police departments of developed nations.

This, he maintained, would not only increase the efficiency of the police department, but would also make things easier for people.
