HYDERABAD, Sept 7: Six candidates of Pakistan Muslim League (N) here on Saturday launched their election campaign by holding a joint rally outside the Hyderabad Press Club.
The candidates from NA-219, NA-220 and NA-222, Shabbir Ahmed, Hanif Siddiqui and Qadeer Gaddi Pathan, and the candidates from PS-45, PS-48 and PS-49, Khizar Hayyat, Naeem Hussain and Afzal Gujjar, respectively, led the rallies.
Speaking to the rally, they said Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was being punished for making the country a nuclear power and introducing Shariah bill in the parliament.
They alleged that the present regime was not sincere with Islam and Pakistan.
They urged the people to vote for PML (N) to strengthen Pakistan.
LUMHS: The second professional, bi-annual examination, scheduled to be held with effect from September 10, at the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro, the Chandka Medical College, Larkana, and Peoples Medical College, Nawabshah, has been rescheduled.
The examination shall now commence from Tuesday, Sept 17.
BISE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Hyderabad, here on Saturday announced the result of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), part-I (class XI) annual examination 2002 of Humanities group (regular and private candidates).
A total number of 9029 candidates appeared in the examination, out of which 5217 candidates were declared successful in all the six papers.
The result of 314 candidates would be declared later on, due to various reasons.
