PPAF disburses Rs1.023bn
ISLAMABAD, Sept 7: Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) with the financial support of the World Bank is providing grant and credit of $90m for the betterment of masses.
This project would greatly help for the advancement of the poor in the development of credit & enterprise and community physical infrastructure, capacity building and institutional strengthening in the country.
This was stated by Chief Executive of PPAF Kamal Hayt while talking to APP here on Saturday.
He said total approval for Credit and Enterprise Development has been accorded worth Rs1.832 billion against which total disbursements of Rs1.023 billion has been made.
These disbursements have been made to 99,011 borrowers while total beneficiaries are 608,000 in 72 districts in the sectors of livestock, agriculture, enterprise and commerce.—APP
