KARACHI: Course on labour welfare

KARACHI, Sept 4: The National Institute of Labour Administration (NILAT) in collaboration with the Family Security Council has organized a two-week special course on “Family Reconciliation and Labour Welfare Laws,” from Sept 2 to 14.

According to a press release, Saddar Town Nazim Mohammad Farooq Fariya was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony, which was presided over by NILAT director general Syed Hakim Ali Shah Bukhari.

The Town Nazim said the NILAT and the Family Security Council had taken initiative to resolve family conflicts through bilateral negotiations and mutual understanding. It would save time and resource of our communities by avoiding court procedures.

Mr Bukhari said “We have to create awareness among family members to resolve their disputes through negotiation, conciliation, arbitration, avoiding unnecessary adjudication.”
