KABUL, Sept 2: Afghanistan is ready to release 100 more Pakistanis taken prisoner during the US-led war against the ex-Taliban regime and Al Qaeda an official said on Monday.

“We are ready to set them free any time the Pakistan side wants. Everything has been done on our part for their freedom,” Foreign ministry spokesman Omar Samad said, adding that preparations were being made to fly the men home whenever Islamabad wanted.—Reuters
