EDOs to take part in anti-polio drive

PESHAWAR, Aug 31: District Coordination Officer Nowshera Laiqur Rehman has asked all the Executive District Officers to take active part in the National Polio Campaign starting from Sept 3 to 5, 2002.

Presiding over a high-level meeting regarding polio awareness campaign at his office on Saturday, the DCO underscored the need for joint efforts to help eradicate polio saying that it was the responsibility of each individual to create awareness regarding this fatal disease and persuade parents to get their children vaccinated. Responding to the request of EPI staff, the DCO assured full cooperation and said that the entire district machinery would be mobilized to make the national Polio Vaccination Campaign a success.—APP
