KARACHI: Plea to vacate encroached plots

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, Aug 31: The Railway Workers Federation on Friday appealed to the Sindh governor and the police authorities to take notice of encroachment on railway land near Karachi University Railway Station.

In a statement, the federation’s president, Manzoor Razi, said that plot No.115 to 159 in the Railway Cooperative Housing Society near Karachi University Railway Station had been encroached by land mafia due to which retired railway employees and the widows of the employees were in trouble.

He alleged that the encroachment was being made on the backing of an influential group and they hand constructed a boundary.

The workers federation appealed to the governor and police authorities to do justice to poor railway employees and get the plots vacated.
