Two killed in road accident

QUETTA, Aug 30: Two people were killed and 18 others injured when a bus collided with a truck near Kalat, some 160km from here, on Friday.

When the bus, coming from Panjgur, struck against the truck, coming from Quetta, bus driver Sajjad Hussain and a passenger, identified as Ajmal, died on the spot.

Eighteen other passengers were injured, including Taj Mohammad, Noor Ahmed, Abdul Rehman, Asadullah, Mohammad Hasan, Sajid, Khan Mohammad, Abdiul Rahim, Nazar Jan, Ghulam Nabi, Abdul Rehman, Akmal Khan and Naik Bibi.

They were taken to Civil Hospital, Kalat, where four injured were stated to be in serious condition.
