KARACHI: Burns centre at CHK


KARACHI, Aug 30: The first-ever burn centre equipped with sate-of-the-art facilities at the Civil Hospital has entered the final phase of construction and is expected to be operative next month.

Sindh health minister, Maj-Gen Ahsan Ahmed, was informed of this during his visit to the centre.

Medical superintendent Prof Noshad Sheikh, president Friends of Burns Centre Abdullah Feroz and others were present on the occasion.

Maj Ahsan said that the Burns Centre was first such project in Pakistan which was equipped with the latest equipment, and after the opening it would offer quality treatment facilities to burn victims.

Abdullah Feroze appreciated the contribution and donations of philanthropists.—PPI
