HYDERABAD, Aug 29: The nomination papers of 56 candidates for National Assembly and Provincial Assembly seats of Hyderabad were accepted following scrutiny of their candidatures on Thursday.

The nomination papers of Mohammad Irfan Qureshi were accepted for NA-220, Hyderabad-III.

For NA-221, Hyderabad-IV, the nomination papers of Dost Mohammad Serai, Dost Mohammad Channa and Abdul Sattar Khan were accepted.

For NA-222, Hyderabad-V, the nomination papers of Syed Qamar Zaman Shah, Syed Naveed Qamar Shah and Syed Mohsin Shah Bukhari were accepted.

The nomination papers of PPP’s Qaisar Khan Nizamani, Huma Talpur, Muqadas and Sheikh Mian Abdullah were accepted for PS-50.

The papers of Mahboob Sangi (PPP), Imran Khan Solangi, Syed Liaquat Ali Shah, Dr Syed Inayat Ali Shah and Ali Hassan Abbasi were accepted for PS-47.

For PS-45, the nomination papers of Syed Imran Mateen, Mohammad Farooque Qureshi, Shamsuddin and Mohammad Aleemuddin were accepted.

The papers of Syed Habib Shah for the same seat were rejected.

For PS-46, the candidatures of Prof Shah Azmat Ali, Irfan, Ghulam Mohammad Khokhar and Abdul Saleem were accepted.

The candidatures of Syed Mohsin Shah Bukhari and Raja Mal were accepted for PS-53.

For PS-48, the forms of Prof Shah Azmat Ali, Arshad Shah, Naeem Ishtiaque, Dr Mohammad Ajmal Baloch, Prof Sadruddin, Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, Ameer Ali, Allauddin, Fahim Baig Mughal, Naeem Hassan, Saira Naseer, Samiuddin Sajid, Mohammad Iqbal Shah, Mirza Shafique Baig, Mohammad Tariq, Mohammad Zahid Chohan, Sultan Sheikh, Syed Mushtaq Ali, Agha Saleem, Iqbal Ahmad, Shamim Fatima and Ahmad Jameel Raza were accepted.

The nomination forms of Syed Zahid Hussain Shah, Taufique Ahmad of PML-N, Peer Mohammad Zaman Shah, Abdul Rasheed Chandio and Abdul Khaliq Samoon were accepted for PS-43.

For PS-44, the nomination papers of PPP’s Peer Ameer Ali Shah, Syed Hafiz Haq Nawaz of MMA and Syed Jalal Shah of the PML (F) were accepted.
