KARACHI, Aug 29: Three vessels Msc Maeva, Msc Aurora and Msc Abdoun Discovery to load/offload containers and furnace oil were berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal and Fotco Oil Terminal during the last 24 hours, says a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, two more ships Er Albany to offload containers and Mighty to load wheat also arrived at the outer anchorage. Albany, Francisca Schulte and Mighty were due to take berths at QICT and Marginal Wharf.

A cargo volume of 41,011 tons comprising 32,477 tons of import tonnage and 8,534 tons of export cargo, inclusive of cargo carried in 1,151 containers, was handled.

Three vessels Safmarine Victory, Safmarine Athi and Fair Mary sailed wile Msc Maeva was due to leave on Thursday.
