KARACHI, Aug 28: The seriously ill youth Edhi Foundation was planning to bring back home from India on the request of his mother, died on Wednesday morning in Rajhistan.
A spokesman for Edhi Foundation on Tuesday said Sughra Begum had appealed to the Foundation to make arrangements for bringing her son Bashir alias Imran, 18, back from India as he had been suffering from blood cancer and doctors had lost all hopes.
The spokesman said that Imran died in the morning at Chitor Garh in India and he was buried in accordance with his mother’s wish.
The Edhi Foundation had asked the Indian High Commission in Islamabad to arrange visas for three Edhi volunteers and made correspondence in this respect with interior and foreign ministries.
The spokesman thanked the Indian High Commission and the authorities concerned for extending help in this respect.
