Polling stations
MIRPURKHAS, Aug 24: As many as 640 polling stations and 1,737 polling booths would be set up in Mirpurkhas district for the forthcoming general elections.
The deputy election commissioner, Mirpurkhas, Sono Khan Baloch, said here on Saturday.
He said that 640 presiding officers, 3,474 assistant presiding officers and 1,730 polling officers would be appointed in the district.
He said that there were 785,394 registered voters in the district.—Correspondent
