HYDERABAD: Inspector punished

HYDERABAD, Aug 23: The additional inspector general, Police, Hyderabad Region, Abdur Rauf Yousufzai, has sent Inspector Mir Mohammad Bachal of Hyderabad District on compulsory retirement on the charges of corruption and inefficiency.

The action has been taken under the “Removal from Service” ordinance 2000.

He has warned that corruption and inefficiency in the police department would not be tolerated under any circumstances.

The AIG also disposed of the appeals filed by police officers of the region.
