By Our Correspondent

SUKKUR, Aug 22: The Governor of Sindh, Mohammedmian Soomro, has said in Jacobabad that my resignation would be accepted within two or three days and I would return to Jacobabad after its acceptance to start my election campaign for NA-208. “This seat belongs to my family and I will definitely contest for it.”

He said this while talking to newsmen at the Jacobabad Press Club on Wednesday.

He said he was not using official influence for the election campaign and whatever others were saying regarding it was false and misleading.

He said I have not brought any particular officer from Punjab to help me in the campaign.

Mr Soomro said the transfers of the officers were a part of government policy.

Earlier, he inaugurated the Jacobabad water supply scheme, which has been completed at a cost of Rs200 million. He also inaugurated a filter plant for Jacobabad which would be completed within a year.
