Arab League alarmed over Israeli satellite

By Our Correspondent

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 22: The Israeli espionage satellite “OFEK-5” poses a direct threat to the Arab national security, an Arab League report said on Thursday.

According to a local news agency, the report prepared for the Arab League’s foreign ministers meeting due in September, pointed out that Israeli nuclear programme poses a direct threat to Arab states, and added that Tel Aviv’s launching of a spy satellite has further complicated the threat perception.
