German GDP grows
WIESBADEN, Aug 22: The German economy, the biggest in the 12-country euro zone, grew by 0.3 per cent in the second quarter of the current year from the figure for the first quarter, data published by the Federal Statistics Office on Thursday showed.
On a 12-month basis, gross domestic product (GDP) in Germany grew by 0.5 per cent in the second quarter.—AFP
