ISLAMABAD, Aug 22: Askari Commercial Bank organized a workshop in Rawalpindi on Thursday to create awareness among the exporters about how they can benefit from the newly-launched Export Credit Guarantee Scheme.

The scheme, a source pointed out, was being implemented by Export Finance Guarantee Agency Limited (PEFG) which is a public limited company set up with the support of Ministry of Commerce, State Bank of Pakistan and equity participation by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and 11 local banks including Askari Bank.
