KARACHI: Reckless driving claims two lives

KARACHI, Aug 21: A young man and a small boy fell victim to reckless driving in the city on Wednesday.

A young man was knocked down by an unidentified speeding vehicle in Korangi in the morning. Police said that Yaseen, aged 20, was run over by a speeding vehicle while walking across a main thoroughfare in Korangi in the police limits of Zaman Town. He was seriously injured and was rushed to JPMC where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

A six-year-old boy died when he came under the wheels of a speeding passenger coach in Gulshan-i-Iqbal on late Tuesday night.

Police said that Hammad, aged six, was knocked down by a speeding Gul Coach while walking across Abul Hasan Ispahani Road.
