KARACHI, Aug 20: The annual convocation of the Society for the Promotion of Arabic will be held here on Aug 31.
Federal Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz will be the chief guest at the convocation, and will distribute certificates to successful students of different Arabic language courses conducted by the society in the year 2001-2002.
The society was established in 1973, and so far has given certificates of proficiency in Arabic to about 24,000 persons, a press release said.
