Armyman’s wife gang-raped

FAISALABAD, Aug 18: Three young men gang-raped the wife of an armyman in Chak Jhumra on Sunday.

The victim told police that she was alone in her house when Azam, Farooq and Aslam forced their entry into the premises. They raped her at gunpoint.

Area police registered a case against the three accused with no arrests.

MURDERED: A woman was among the four people murdered in the city and its adjoining areas during the last 24 hours.

Shamim Bibi was axed to death by her brother Bashir Ahmed in Chak No 244 RB. Bashir was doubtful about the character of his married sister.

Three unknown men shot dead Khadim Hussain in New Faisal Town when he was sitting outside his house.

The motive behind the murder could not be known.

Munir Ahmed and Sher Muhammad gunned down a young boy, Ijaz Ahmed, in Kakuana village over an old enmity.

Ijaz Ahmed and Imtiaz Ahmed clubbed to death their father, Ghulam Rasool, in Chak No 160 RB over a minor issue.

STRANGLED: Three men strangled an aged man in Chak No 63 GB of Tandlianwala on Saturday night.

Police said Sajawal Hussain was sleeping in the courtyard of his house when Ali Sher, Hamid Ali and Ashiq Hussain entered into his house. They strangled Sajawal and fled away.

Police claimed that Ashiq had illicit relations with Sajawal’s daughter.
