KARACHI: Four cars, nine bikes hijacked

KARACHI, Aug 18: Thirteen vehicles — four cars and nine motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Sunday, police said.

One car was hijacked. Three others were stolen.

Two motorcycles were hijacked. Seven others were stolen.

Police also claimed on Sunday to have recovered five motorcycles in the city.

DROWNED: The body of a young man was found washed ashore on Gadani beach on Sunday.

Sources at Civil Hospital said that the body of the unidentified young man, who was in his mid-20s, was at least four days old.

The body was partially decomposed.

Sources at the hospital said that the signs showed that the young man died of drowning.

After post-mortem, the body had been kept in the Edhi’s morgue for identification, police said.
