HYDERABAD, Aug 18: The controller of examinations, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Hyderabad, announced here on Saturday that permission for change of group would be granted up to Jan 2 for the academic year 2002-2003 in affiliated colleges.
He has further notified that candidates who appeared for the first time in the SSC-II annual examination, 2001, and could not qualify by availing or not availing the chance of supplementary examinations, 2001, and annual examination, 2002, are eligible to appear in the SSC-II supplementary examination, 2002, in the remaining papers.
The last date for receiving forms from such candidates has been fixed at Aug 27.
The controller has also announced that permission to pass additional subjects — Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Computer Science (part I and II) — would be granted up to Jan 2, 2003, for the academic year 2002-2003 in affiliated colleges.
The candidates are required to get their application forwarded through the principal of the college from where they passed their HSC-II examination.
The controller also notified that the last date for receipt of applications for improvement of grade at the HSC annual examination, 2003, without late fee had been fixed at Jan 2 while with late fee of Rs100 at Feb 1 and with late fee of Rs200 at March 1.
He clarified that improvement of grade was only meant for those candidates who had passed their HSC-II, annual examination, 2002, for the first time.
