KARACHI, Aug 16: The city police chief, Asad Jehangir Khan, instructed on Friday the in charge SSP of the Driving Licence Branch to ensure that simple and easy procedure was adopted for issuance of driving licence to the public.

He was speaking at a meeting in police auditorium on “Traffic System and Issuance of Driving Licence.”

The city police chief asked officers to implement road safety rules in letter and in spirit. He advised them to identify the loop holes in safety measures and put their recommendations in writing on a priority basis.

He also instructed police officers to launch vigorous campaign in all the traffic zones of the city in close coordination with the area people. — PPI
