Das stakes Test claim


CHELMSFORD (England), Aug 15: Shiv Sunder Das brightened his hopes of resurrecting his Test career Thursday by scoring 250 as the touring Indians piled up 516 on the second day of the four-day game against Essex.

By stumps, Essex were 173 for three. Das resumed the day on 165 in his team’s total of 331 for six.
