Automobile industry assured of incentives

ISLAMABAD, Aug 15: The government will provide more incentives to the automobile industry so that it could play a prominent role in the national progress.

This was stated by Commerce Minister Abdul Razak Dawood while chairing a meeting on automobile here on Thursday, said an official announcement. The meeting was attended among others by stakeholders of automobile sector.

The meeting deliberated upon in details on various issues, including production, future investment, price increase, deletion, duties, demand and supply as will as booking and registration issues. It also exchange views and measures that could be helpful to give relief to real buyers.

During the meeting, the stakeholders representing various companies also presented their problems and suggestions in this regard, which the minister assured would be looked into for its fair solution, the press release added.Profit-selling sets in on stock market
