KARACHI, Aug 13: The Export Promotion Bureau has become the member of CIBJO, an international confederation of jewellery, silverware, diamonds, pearls and stones, based in Italy.

The objective of getting membership of CIBJO is to enhance exports and promote country’s products in the international markets.

The main function of CIBJO is to generate latest design, promote new trends and skills, besides publicity among its members for promotion of designs and trends in the international markets. The organization also arranges conferences of its members. At present more than 20 countries are members of this organization.

The EPB is also organizing a visit of delegation from the jewellery association of Pakistan to attend gems and jewellery exhibition being held in Bangkok, Thailand, in September this year.
