Wilson’s comeback
MUNICH, Aug 12: Wilson Kipketer staged a remarkable comeback in the men’s 800 metres final before Gabriela Szabo suffered a shock defeat as the curtain fell on the European Athletics Championships Sunday.
Dane Kipketer, who could not wear his spikes at all last year because of a foot fracture, regained his supremacy with a comfortable victory over 800 metres in the highlight of the final programme.—Reuters
