Pakistan says it believes in one-China

ISLAMABAD, Aug 10: Pakistan believes in one-China of which Taiwan is an inalienable part, a foreign office spokesman said on Saturday.

In a statement, he said that Pakistan believed in one-China.

He said Pakistan also held that the government of the People’s Republic of China “is the sole legal government representing the whole of China, the mainland as well as Taiwan.” This has consistently remained Pakistan’s position in the past and so does it now, he added.—APP
