HYDERABAD, Aug 10: The Muttahida Labour Federation has deplored the inordinate delay in the release of salaries of the local bodies’ employees of the country, saying that it was tyrannical that the employees of some of the local bodies of interior of Sindh have not been paid their salaries for the last six months.

In a statement issued here on Friday, Secretary General, MLF, Qamoos Gul Khatak, said that no slightest improvement had been witnessed in the working of the local councils after the introduction of the new system.

The labour leader demanded of the government that strict action should be taken against those bureaucrats who were withholding the salaries of the employees of the local councils.
