Kalam to visit Gujarat
NEW DELHI, Aug 9: India’s new president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, in his first trip since taking the highest constitutional post, will visit riot-torn Gujarat to check on relief aid given to the state’s beleaguered Muslims, his office said on Friday.—AFP
