KARACHI, Aug 9: City Nazim Naimatullah Khan has said that several important plans and projects are in the pipeline which include construction of fly-overs at FTC, Shah Faisal Colony and on Shahrah-i-Quaideen, while Gurumandir would have a steel bridge.

He stated this while inaugurating a road at UC-6 Gulshan-i-Iqbal Town, Karachi under Khushhal Pakistan Program, Phase -III here on Friday.

The city Nazim informed that the city government allocated 31 per cent for education and 19 per cent for health care and steps were being taken for improving the standard of education.

Nazim, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town, Abdul Wahab Khan, speaking on the occasion said 1.5 million square feet road carpeting had been undertaken in Gulshan-i-Iqbal Town at an amount of Rs35 million approximately and 80 per cent streetlights have been restored, while further development works are going on.—PPI
