Sikander, Saad shine

KARACHI, Aug 7: All-rounder Sikander Ashraf starred in Zone-V Blues’ 40-run victory over Zone-IV Blues in the KCCA-Darul Adviat Trophy inter-zonal under-17 cricket championship at Pakistan Steel Township Ground Tuesday.

Sikander claimed five for 39 with his off-spinners in 17 overs after chipping in with a knock of 34 to clinch the Man-of-the-Match award.

Opener Abdul Saad smashed a fine 105 with 10 boundaries and three sixes as Zone-VII Whites overwhelmed Zone-I Blues by 80 runs at UBL Sports Complex Ground.

Saad also captured two for 38.
